I am a transplanted California person who settled in Maine after a stint in the US Navy.

I spent nine years serving in the US Navy and one of my last duty stations was NAS Brunswick, Maine. This is where I met my future wife - Tina. So after getting out of the Navy we moved back to Maine to start our family. I learned about IT on my own but then went on to get a BS in Computer Information System from University of Maine at Augusta. I then spent the last 26 years in the IT field with both University of Maine System and Dept. of Veteran Affairs. But photography was always my passion even though I could not afford it.

I now spend every chance I can to go out taking pictures. I like to take landscape and wildlife photos. I volunteer for any opportunity to take pictures like concert events, weddings and any other events that people will let me take photos. I would like to channel this passion to a small business that will allow me to retire from IT work and do my passion full or part time.
